The Clock

The Clock

This is an area of our greatest opportunity and our greatest peril: the passage of time.

Defining a path to becoming an Archery discipline and competing in the Games as the first electronic sport [in our case, even more, as the first Virtual Sport [vSport]] would give us tremendous leverage with a wide range of potential partners, including some who are now working to stake out a role for eSports at Paris 2024.

We have by far the most rational case for inclusion in the games, but decisions on matters like this are rarely completely rational.

Every day that passes is a missed opportunity to make a critical connection or to make an important case to a key player in this extended process.

The clock is ticking not only because the calendar [below] is relentless, but because impressions and decisions are being made right now that may help us, and may hurt us.

Beyond this, the fundamental tasks of enabling Virtual Reality Archery and then vSport archery, and proliferating both around the world will take an unknown but irreducible amount of time.

We need to go through a lot of doors around the world, and go through them soon.

The. Clock. Is. Ticking.
